The Casa del Teatre Nu is an open space for creation.
La Casa del Teatre Nu is our work space. Located in the heart of Sant Martí de Tous, a small town in the Anoia region, it opened its doors in 2015 and since then has hosted the company’s creations and co-productions. At the same time, it offers a programme of school visits to bring entertainment and the theatre making process closer to the students of our country.
It is also a space that hosts residences for creators, public educational activities, a programme of shows, and the town’s theatre school.
School visits
La Casa del Teatre Nu offers schools the chance to spend a day getting to know how a theatre company works and what goes on behind the scenes when putting on a show. The experience, which we call “close-up theatre” (teatre de prop), is structured in two distinct parts. In the first part, the students attend a performance of one of the Teatre Nu shows, in the small theatre of La Casa. It is a very intimate performance since the venue has a maximum capacity of 50 people.
In the second part, the group is split in three in order to work on different aspects of theatre and its creative process. The activities are carried out in different spaces within La Casa: the theatre, the workshop, the expression room and around the town.
The talks and activities are adapted to suit each age group. The Teatre Nu shows are aimed at all audiences, but when it comes to school groups, each show has a target age.

Theater classes
At La Casa del Teatre Nu, we also hold workshops for kids, youth and adults. Another way to bring theatre closer to people. Training has been a big part of the work our team does, for many years.
Following many years of organising theatre courses and workshops in different towns around the Anoia region, we decided to open our own school.

Adults – from 20:15 to 21:45
Kids – from 18:30 to 20:00
Youth – from 17:00 to 18:30

Each month at La Casa del Teatre Nu we offer a programme of different shows and activities, which aim to bring art and culture closer to the people of the region.
La Casa del Teatre Nu offers an intimacy that is highly valued by creators and audiences.
Seeing a show performed is a very special experience, which is lived in a very intense way in our venue.
Co-productions and residences
Apart from our own creations, Teatre Nu produces shows looking for the facilities to put on their performance. The umbrella under which we pool together the proposals that we receive, offers professionals the service of the Teatre Nu team as well as the walls of La Casa.
The Teatre Nu hosts projects from the idea up to their first and final performances. A way to learn and become better professionals.
