From a Don Quixote
“Fly not, cowards and vile beings, for a single knight attacks you.”
Starting with the “Burlesque Don Quixote Suite” by the German composer Georg Phillip Telemann, we present a performance that combines baroque music and theatre to bring us the work of Cervantes. A work that shows us the genius of two great creators and that features the magnificent work of Indiano Quartet and of the guitarist David Murgadas.
Synopsis: Five musicians and a passionate director meet to create a show about the novel Don Quijote de la Mancha. To do this, they resort to the Burlesque Suite of Telemann, both pieces inspired by the classic of Miguel de Cervantes. The passion and fascination for this great classic will lead them to a collective experience full of musical creativity, theatrical illusion and love for culture, literature and madness in general.
